Mark Cassell Author

As an author Mark Cassell has worked in a wide array of jobs but has become (in)famous for his work in the field of Horror in particular and is a part of the scene with his unique style of work and cross-genre novels including, sci-fi, dark fantasy, and steampunk. His work straddles the darker edges of literature with the potential to go deeper into the world of cinema and TV thanks to his smooth style of writing and edgy plots that fit seamlessly into the counterculture that holds this style of work close.

His latest novella a pair of dark horror stories titled Monster Double Feature is built around darker elements of humanity crossing into the twisted world of creatures and is as pacey as you would expect, holding your attention with its narrative flow keeping you in the moment a clever linguistic trick that is a theme of his work making him a unique voice in the market and an author worth note, with the potential to become a screenwriter.

Taking inspiration and influence from a number of sources, it is easy to see why Mark Cassells Books are respected and have the scope to be transferred from the page to the screen, as part of what could be termed a “lost” author and potentially screenwriter for our planned future work, he is a man whose work is on the radar and growing in public status with good reason.

With books available through his website and Amazon (UK and USA) you can buy in print and digital form making them widely available and in terms of current methods opens the (creaky) door to a whole host of potential reading with thrills and chills.
